The Top 10

Good Morning!  Wow I am feeling so blessed this morning.  I can not believe that this is my life.  I am so fortunate and lucky to have so many wonderful and amazing people that I get to call my family!

I did a first last night and I have to admit I was a little nervous last week but am so happy I over came my doubts in myself, I led our church book group.  I was very pleased with how it turned out and just appreciate and respect everyone in that group. They have offered me so much to grow spiritually and learn about what I want in this lifetime a little bit more.

So with that said, I have composed a list of the Top 10 things I want to accomplish or should I say attempt this summer.  I feel like a good list gets things done and your thoughts are immediately worked out when you have wrote this list.  This is subject to change of course and are not in any sort of order...but it is a start:


1) Put on a dinner party (invites, courses, and table settings)
2) Make a recipe book/organize a grocery wall/list ideas
3) Create a buget (forms, ideas to save)
3) Create a home office
4) Make a elaborate cake
5) Learn golf/tennis
6) Book a trip
7) Sew something
8) Create a business plan
9) Backpacking camping trip
10) Take a photography class

So what does a girl do when she has ran out of rooms that need major organization and want to get more practice...you ask your boyfriend really, really nicely if you can get your hands on his house....

And oh can I tell you what a wonderful experience this was...once again there is something about baskets and a label gun that puts me on a whole new level!

So we had only discussed letting me at his his hall closet but I just couldn't stop there so I worked on his bathroom, kitchen, junk drawer, and hall closet...

Now that was a fun project..but have to say it turned out pretty good!  And he likes it too :)

My sad little pantry

Thank you for not giving up on me, I know it has been awhile since I have updated this blog, but I have been accomplishing many new projects and learning so much along the way!

I can not wait to share over the next few days of all the projects I have completed with you all!

So this is an area I visit everyday, many times a day and every time I enter it I am immediatly grossed out and can not ever find anything.  You would of thought this was a house of college bachelors!  But During this process of organizing my pantry I could not believe I have never had a problem with mice!

Through this project I have learned how to create cute labels and find great storage with so much of what I already had!  And Less is More, thats my new saying...I threw away more expired, unused items that were just holding up space!

So here it is...the befores:

Everything has its own spot...everything has its place!  What a happy pantry now!

Ahh, Life you did it again!

So after this weekend it brings me to reflection of some different aspects of my life, since this is what my blog is about...to discover, grow, and learn my best self...I was shocked at this next discovery

 Many years ago I started a blog and had completely forgotten about it, I forgot what I wrote and what I said.  So when I was getting ready to begin this one, magic google linked my name up to a previous blog and I had wrote a few posts 3 some years ago.

I was first amazed at the title of the blog I chose.  It was exactly the path I wanted to explain the direction of this blog, living life to the absolute fullest through growth, spirituality, learning and discovery!  

Then I read a few posts I had written, and I was amazed again!  I was even more blown away by a particular post that I created, it was my 5 year plan!  After evaluating the list, I found that I was on my way to accomplishing most of it, I guess it is true by a list of what you want, then what the power of subconscious will do for you!

So here is my 5 year plan (written 3 years ago)

Lynn's 5 year plan:

1) Run a marathon

2) Learn to golf

3) Visit South America ( via cruise) Europe (two weeks through Greece and a few more weeks in Italy)

4) Go to a Concert Festival

5) Get my buisiness plan up and running....

6) Fall in Love

7) Move into my 30s house...(upgrade)

8) Plan a girls trip to Napa Vally

9) Become a strong women

10) Be Fearless

My upgraded 5 year plan:

          My next training plan...ROCK and ROLL in Denver...Sept 22

So I rambled enough, but all in all Life is really really good right now and am so happy to feel the way I do at this point of my life! I am so blessed and so grateful for everything I have and all that I have been able to experience! 

Rock and Roll

We did it!  We finished the 1/2 marathon in Nashville!

I don't think I have ever been apart of something so amazing and life changing!  The many many weeks of training paid off in a way I could of never of imagined.  It gave me a power I had hidden for so long!

I can not wait to do another one and improve my time and finish again with this same high if not feel even more unstoppable!

So this hallway closet has been a cluster of junk since we moved into this house.  We would just throw things in there to get it out of the way. You had to always be on your toes when opening the door,  So I couldn't take it any longer and had to see what I could do with this mess...

Reused some extra baskets I had and sorted through the items and categorized them into "like" items

My first project....

In light of this blog I wanted to get in touch with my organizational self...Which was not much to brag about since I was 5 when I was caught reorganizing my sisters dresser drawers.

With Pintrest's fast popularity and my fast addiction to Pintrest, I stubbled across some of my favorite organizational blogs that soon became my addiction!

There is just something about a label and a basket that gets me...I now can't stop at the store without looking at my options and seeing what else is out there.

So without further ado here was my very first home makeover, My Laundry Room!

After looking at this picture of this cabinet...I started to laugh so hard...it is such a mess!
